Let's Go Crazy!

From the minds of Niveous and Glenn Case comes The Purple Reign.

This project came about as a result of a musician we will call Mr. Purple.

Mr. Purple is a great musician but there's one thing about him that irks us, his super obsession with copyrights. So we came up with an idea.

Each month, we and any other bands who would like to join us in this endeavor (the more bands the better) will make original songs using the titles of Mr. Purple songs. Then we will post them to our web space and go on, until we have created an entire library of Mr. Purple tunes that aren't Mr. Purple tunes.

The small person in Minneapolis or at least someone is bound to take notice, especially if we get this in a large enough scale. So we need your help. The more songs, the bigger the project. You get the idea.

The first Purple Reign will start in November with Mr. Purple's first album: For You.

1. Pick the song titles that appeal to you.
2. Write as many songs as you like.
3. Submit the songs you are happy with.
4. Multiple artists will probably cover the same title. We welcome this.
